Billiard.Store is committed to making our online shop usable for everyone, including people with disabilities and people who use assistive technologies. This statement explains which accessibility standards we follow, how our website supports accessible use, and how to contact us if you experience a barrier.

This statement applies to billiard.store, operated by Billard Beckmann GmbH, Denisstraße 1, 67663 Kaiserslautern, Germany.

About Our Service

Billiard.Store is an online shop for billiard and games-room equipment. We sell billiard tables, billiard cues, cue cases, billiard accessories, football tables, games-room furniture and boules equipment. You can browse our range, compare products and place orders online. We deliver within Germany and to other countries we serve, and the available delivery countries and costs are shown at checkout.

How Our Service Works

  • Finding products: Use the main menu to browse by category, or use the search function to find a product by name. On category pages, you can narrow results with filters and change the order with the sort menu.
  • Product information: Each product page shows the price, product description, images, specifications and availability. Images have text alternatives where they carry information.
  • Placing an order: Add products to your basket, then select the basket to review your items and quantities. At checkout, you enter your contact and delivery details, choose a delivery method and payment method, review your order and confirm it.
  • After your order: We send an order confirmation by email. You can also create a customer account to view your order history and save your details for future purchases.
  • Delivery and returns: Delivery options and costs are shown at checkout and on our shipping policy page. Our returns policy explains how to return a product.

If you need help at any step, including placing an order, contact us and we will assist you.

Accessibility Standards We Follow

Billiard.Store serves customers across Europe, so we follow European accessibility law and standards:

  • The European Accessibility Act (EAA), Directive (EU) 2019/882, which applies to e-commerce services offered to consumers in the EU from 28 June 2025, together with the national laws that implement it in each EU country, such as the German Accessibility Strengthening Act (Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz, BFSG).
  • EN 301 549, the harmonised European standard for the accessibility of information and communication technology (ICT). Version 3.2.1 is currently the reference standard under EU law, and version 4.1.1 was published in September 2026.
  • The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). WCAG 2.2 is the benchmark adopted in EN 301 549 version 4.1.1 and builds on the WCAG 2.1 requirements in version 3.2.1.

We will update our target standard as European standards and guidelines evolve.

How Our Website Supports Accessibility

We build accessibility into the design and development of our website. The site is designed to support:

  • Keyboard navigation, with a visible focus indicator and a skip-to-content link
  • Screen readers and other assistive technologies, through semantic headings, landmarks and labelled form fields
  • Text alternatives for meaningful images
  • Colour contrast that meets WCAG 2.2 Level AA
  • Text resizing and browser zoom up to 200% without loss of content or function
  • Consistent navigation and page layout across the site
  • Touch targets sized for use on mobile devices
  • Clear error messages and instructions in forms, including at checkout

Our website also works with the accessibility features built into modern browsers and operating systems, such as zoom, high-contrast modes and reduced motion settings.

Third-Party Content

Some features of our website are provided by third parties, such as payment processing, checkout, delivery tracking, reviews and embedded video. We choose third-party services that support accessibility and work to fix accessibility issues within our control. However, we cannot always control the accessibility of third-party content or platforms. If a third-party feature prevents you from completing a purchase or finding information, please contact us and we will help.

Documents and PDFs

Most information on Billiard.Store is provided as web pages, which work well with screen readers and other assistive technologies. A small number of documents, such as product manuals or assembly instructions, may be provided as PDFs. We recognise that PDFs can be difficult to use with some assistive technologies. If you have trouble accessing any document, contact us and we will provide the information in an accessible format.

Feedback and Contact

We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of Billiard.Store. If you experience a barrier, need information in an alternative format, or have a suggestion for improvement, please contact us:

Please tell us the page address (URL), the problem you experienced and the assistive technology you use, if any. We aim to respond to accessibility requests within 3–5 working days.
