FAQ
About Our Types of Foosball Tables
It depends on where the table will live and how seriously you play. For family rooms and casual games, choose a home and leisure table. For club play or tournament practice, choose a competition table. For pubs, bars and other venues where the table needs to earn money, choose a coin-op table.
Most full-size foosball tables have a cabinet around 140–150 cm long and 75–80 cm wide, and stand roughly 90 cm tall. The rods add width on the handle sides, so allow about a metre of clear space on each side for players to stand. Always check the dimensions on the product page before you buy.
Most tables have 22 players, 11 per team, spread across eight rods. Each team typically lines up with one goalkeeper, two defenders, five midfielders and three attackers. Some tables use a three-player goalkeeper rod instead.
Competition tables have heavier, more rigid cabinets that don't move during fast play. They also use through rods, higher-quality bearings and balanced players for more precise ball control. Home tables prioritise safety and value, usually with telescopic rods that don't stick out the far side.
