McDermott i-Pro Origin Low Deflection Pool Cue Shaft 12mm for 3/8x10 Joint

The McDermott i-Pro Origin pool cue shaft is the most radially consistent shaft McDermott has ever built. Radial consistency is the shaft's ability to produce the same result regardless of how it is rotated — so the shaft performs predictably from shot to shot.

Octadic laminated construction

Eight spliced pieces of premium maple are bonded together to cancel out the inconsistencies caused by natural wood grain. The result is maximum energy transfer into the cue ball, letting you generate a higher spin rate while hitting closer to centre ball.

Triple-layer carbon fibre core

The carbon fibre core runs the full length of the shaft, from ferrule to joint, stabilising the whole shaft for absolute control and predictability while reducing vibration.

Navigator Alpha tip

Multiple layers of Japanese pigskin leather, bonded and compressed for three minutes, for a firm and crisp hit that mushrooms less. The base layers use a different density to act as a bumper, reducing pressure on the tip and protecting the ferrule.
